Meteors edged 2-1 by St Marys in exhibition play at Budweiser Gardens
The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps took to the ice at Budweiser Gardens in London on Feb 7th, falling 2-1 to the St Marys Rock in an exhibition game.  Following the match, the team stayed for the London Knights game and watched an exciting 4-3 comeback win by the Knights over the Sarnia Sting.  Coach Steve Geiger noted that Leafs draft pick Mitch Marner had 4 assists, and likes the outlook of his future playing alongside next Leaf captain Steven Stamkos in 2016-17 season.

Mitchell would open the scoring 2:35 into the first period with a powerplay goal by Jordan Visneskie, assisted by Kellen Russwurm and Joel Meinen.  St Marys would tie it up before the end of the period with an unassisted powerplay goal of their own.  The Rock would score again early in the second period to pull ahead, and the Meteors could not find the net again for the remainder of the game.
