ANOTHER EXCITING ENDING
The Lockhart Funeral Home Pee Wee LL team took on the Drayton Defenders on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at its home barn playing hard to the bitter end.
Mitchell came out of the gate ready to play tonight. They played as a team and demonstrated their passing skills giving Drayton a run for their money. Drayton, however, managed to get one goal during the first period of play, but Mitchell did not allow them a second. Despite having many opportunities to tie up the game or even take the lead the game ended in a 1 to 0 loss for Mitchell. Much like their last game, they fought hard until the bitter end having a faceoff in Drayton's end with only three seconds left and then again with only two seconds. They scrambled hard to try and tie up the game and the end result was yet another exciting end to a hard fought game.
