Shut Out Win for Novice LL
Mitchell Novice LL's came to play with a vengeance and would shut out the BCH Ice Dogs 8-0 in this Saturday's home game. Logan Ruby opened the scoring with a breakaway goal early in the first period. Minutes later Blake Redfern would make a perfect pass up ice to Brayden Glauser who would net his first goal of the game giving Redfern the assist. Sam Huettlin demonstrated steller stick handling skills as he moved end to end with the puck passing several BCH players along the way to score his first goal of the game. In the second period Brandon Dietrich would score an unassisted goal to bring the score to 4-0 after two periods, but Mitchell's scoring streak would not end there.
Noah Mann would score twice in the third period, his first goal came with assists from Glauser and Jack Steinbach. Just 6 seconds later Logan Nugent would put another one past the BCH goalie. Mitchell's third goal of the period would come from Glauser, his second of the game, and Steinbach would get his second assist of the game on this goal. Mann rounded out the scoring for Mitchell on a pass from Glauser to bring the final score to 8-0 for the home team. The shut out win goes to goalie Brennen Vander Kuylen.
