Novices Battle Twin Centres To Draw
Led by the goaltending of Kody Eisler and some great penalty killing , led the Novices to a hard fought 1-1 tie with Twin Centre Stars. Stars opened the scoring late in the first period , but the Meteors battled hard and killed off some key penalties led by all , but especially the defense and goaltending of Eisler , making some key saves in the contest.
Mitchell finally got to the Stars goaltender , at 5:08 into the third as Dawson Dietz, scored on a feed from Daniel Reidy . Mitchell continued to press but could not net the winner.
The return contest this Sunday at 330pm in St.Clement should be something to look forward to.
