Round Robin ends with an egg...
Tonights late night game in Harriston vs Minto was the 5th game in round robin play. In order to stay alive, the Meteors had to win.
A scoreless first period was a great way to get things started, but the second period would not begin quite as smoothly. Once the Mad Dogs opened the scoring, it seemed as though they could not be stopped. There were some great chances generated in the Minto end and solid saves by Boville in the the 1st and Duncan in the other two periods. But in the end, Minto would do all the scoring and send the Meteors home on the wrong end of a 4-0 loss.
All efforts must now be re- focused on friday night's semi-final versus Lambeth.
