The U13 girls started the season off on the right foot,
earning a 3-0 shutout victory over the South Huron Sabres.
Danica Voros started the scoring on a power play in the first
period, grabbing the rebound from Kinslee Horans’ shot.
The Meteors grabbed two more goals in the second period.
Reina Nevin potted the second goal with help form Brianne Carnochan. Horan’s persistence
netted her a goal as well to mark the 3-0 victory.
Ally VanBakel earned the shutout along with a great team
effort to start the season.
