U9 LL, U9 Boys, 2023-2024 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

Final score 3-2 with Monkton scoring in the last 30 seconds of the game. Great effort Meteors and endless display of teamwork. 

This game was the first loss for Mitchell Meteors U9LL with a final score of 4-2. Hard work was displayed by the whole team and Jeter Moses in net with multiple glove saves. Goals scored by Landon Gould and Grady Nuhn. 

The Meteors played Blyth-Brussels Crusaders on Saturday Jan 27th. We seen goals from Landon Gould, Grady Nuhn, Paige McCarthy, and Ben Cupskey with a final score of 12-0 On Sunday Jan 28th Meteors went head to head with the Monkton Predators. Goals came from Grady Nuhn in the 2nd period and Noah Cochrane in the 3rd. Casen Wolfe and Annie Laverty displayed excellent defensive skills holding off the Predators with a final 2-2 tie.

Mitchell U9 LL took home Silver at the Arthur Vipers U9 LL Tournament on Sunday Jan 21st.

Wednesday night Jan 17th we played the mid-Huron Huskies in Bayfield. With a 3-2 win it was a close and exciting game! This was the first game of 2024 and first time on full ice the team did great.
