Tournament Silver Winners
Mitchell U9 LL took home Silver at the Arthur Vipers U9 LL Tournament on Sunday Jan 21st.
The first game was against the Saugeen Valley Steelheads. Heading into the second period it was 1-0 for the Steelheads with Noah Cochrane tying it up. 3 more goals came from Ben Cupskey, Jeter Moses and Paige McCarthy winning the game 1-4
The second match was against Owen Sound scoring all of our 4 goals in the first period from Cupskey, Moses and McCarthy scoring twice. Our defense did awesome work holding them off for the rest of the game with a final score of 3-4 Mitchell
Our 3rd and final game was for the Gold playing against the tournament home team Arthur Vipers. With much team effort and 2 goals scored by Cochrane, the Vipers proved to be a tough team with a final of 2-7 Arthur.
