U11 Rep C, U11 Boys, 2022-2023 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

Mitchell's Lockhart U11 Rep C team is playing in the Gord Hymers tournament this weekend. The boys had a slow start to the tournament losing both games Friday. Mitchell lost 6-1 to Twin Centres and 8-2 to Drayton, Mitchell's three goals were by Myles Havens.  Saturday Mitchell played strong with great passing and Amazing goaltending by Collin Klumper. Mitchell lead the Lambton Shores 6-0 with goals from Myles Haves X2, Danny Bree, Luke Linton & Boston Bambrough X2. Beau Vander Velde  and Landon Bennewies managed to get an assist each. Mitchell's Lockhart Funeral Home U11 Rep C team hosted the Walkerton Capitals for an action packed game. Walkerton was up 1-0, 49 seconds left of the Third period when Luke Linton managed to sneak one by the Capitols to tie the game up sending them into OT. Unfortunately Walkteron managed to sneak one by Mitchell, ending the in a 2-1 loss. Next game is Monday night in Palmerston when Mitchell takes not he Minto Mad Dogs. Go Meteors Go!!

Friday night, Mitchell's Lockhart Funeral Home U11 Rep C team travelled to Monkton to play The Central Perth Predators. Mitchell boys had a great game with a 5-2 win. First period goals were scored by Liam Coyne- Unassisted, Myles Havens scored the first of this Hat trick Assisted by Landon Bennewies and Spencer Dick. Second Period short handed goal was scored by Myles assisted by Zack Diehl and Keaton Wessjes. Mitchell's Lockhart Funeral Home U11 Rep C team played Wingham Ironmen tonight. Their game was action packed and great plays were made. Mitchell ended the game with a 2-0 win Goals Scored by Myles Havens and Landon Bennewies with the trick shot goal. Klumper didn't let one past, great defence was played by Vandervelde, Weesjes, McLeod & Coyne! Great work Boys!! Next Game is Saturday 2pm in Seaforth!

Mitchell's Lockhart Funeral Home U11 Rep C team played Minto Mad Dogs Wednesday night. End score was 5-3 for Minto, Mitchell's goals were scored by Danny Bree assisted by Myles Havens and Boston Bambrough. Daxton Baker and Luke Linton both scored unassisted. Keaton Weesjes played a great defence game and earned himself the team hard hat for the night. Saturday morning the boys travel to Milverton for 11am game.
