Atom LL MCR Collision Centre Mitchell Meteors put their game faces on and were ready to face Goderich Sailors on Friday night Oct 25th on home ice.
Evenly matched teams, they both fought hard to keep the puck out of their zone and in their possession. Parents enjoyed watching their kids and the team putting in such a great effort. First period we had 4 goal lead over the sailors scored by Riley, Dietrich, Rolph and Coyne with assistance from Wolfe and Ainsley Berendsen.
But that never stopped the meteors with Dietrich and Ainsley sinking 2 more goals in the second period making the game 6-1 going into the third.
Sailors then answered back with a goal at the beginning of the third period.
Mckay and Crowley were quick to find the back of the net in the third finishing off the game 9-1 win.
Next game in Nov 1st on home ice against Wingham Ironmen.
