Atom LL years gets ubderway
On Monday Oct 21st Atom LL MCR Advanced Collision Centre Team travelled to Walkerton to play the Walkerton Capitals on their home ice.
Both teams made many of rushes down the ice with Mitchell Meteors fighting hard to stay ahead of the Capitals. Outstanding goaltending from both our goalies denied Walkerton of any lead. With strong work along the boards Dietrich, McKay, Berendsen and Riley were able to find the back of Walkertons net. Solid defence by Rolph and Baker while working hard to move the puck up the ice and start the team off wth some great plays. Wolfe and Bach stood a strong pair of Defense not letting Walkerton have much to work with. Coyne, Hoskin and Visneskie made strong work pressing the actions to Capitals end and jumping on loose pucks to set up some great plays. Ending the game in a win 7-5.
The team resumes Friday night on home ice at 6:50pm against the Goderich Sailors.
