Midget Rep Highlights
The Larry Hudson Mitchell Midget Rep team have been struggling the last few weeks. They played the Mt Forest Rams on November 20th,  and although they were able to squeak a win 2-1,  nothing about the game was to be proud about, with Mitchell stooping to the Rams tactics.  Next, the Reps hosted the first place Kincardine Kinucks on November 27th in Monkton losing to them 3-0. Finally, the Listowel Cyclones came to town on December 4th, with lines changed and hopes high, unfortunately another defeat would be registered 3-0, when only a handful of players came to play. Shut out to Ryan Bell for keeping the score only at 3, as he faced a barrage of shots.

On Thursday evening, the Larry Hudson Reps traveled to the Hanover P&H Centre to play the fourth place Hanover Falcons.  This game would be different as the Mitchell boys finally seemed to figure things out with their new line mates and played together like a team.  Early in the first, Conner Lockhart would be the first to change the lighting on the score board when he found the back of the net thanks to a great passing sequence from Josh Eidt and Eric Gettler. Although Mitchell would get numerous penalties throughout the first, they would be able to hold the lead to the end of the period, thanks partly to the man between the pipes, Ryan Bell.

Hanover started the second fast and furious, however Mitchell countered their aggressive play and half way through the period Seth Huygen decided to add another goal to make it 2-0, picking up a pass from Conner McLean and Tanner Meinen. The penalty box was once again a busy place for both teams as frustration and testosterone levels increased as time on the clock ran down to end the second.

After the break, Logan Harmer came out in the first minute of the third and made it 3-0 with a short handed goal when he took a pass from Braydon Vosper. With tempers continuing to flare throughout the last period, a lemonade stand in the penalty box would had been a very prosperous business. The buzzer ended the game and Mitchell would add another two points to their statics with a convincing 3-0 win. Bell would earn himself the shut out with the help from his teammates.

The Larry Hudson Mitchell Midget Reps host the Walkerton Capitals on December 11th in Monkton @ 9pm. This will be good one!!
