The JP Uniac Peewee B Girls
The last weekend of regular season is upon us... the girls travelled to Lambeth Saturday morning.
Two minutes into the first Danielle Harmer carried the puck deep into the zone with her awesome puck control. She passed it back to Josephine Jarmuth who made a pass to Margaret McCarthy who was in front of the net . She tipped it right in. Mitchell first on the scoreboard! Late in the first Lambeth got a power play and they scored just over a min left they got another goal to take a 2-1 lead.
Four minutes into second they scored again . Only a couple seconds later Harmer with someone right on her heels managed to get one in. Right in front of the goalie she snuck it between her pads. Then Lambeth scores again to tie the game it didn’t take long for Lambeth to take the lead again going into the third 3-2.
Scramble in front early into the third McCarthy gets one more in. Assisted by Harmer. Scoreboard read another tie game. 3-3. Lambeth managed to get three more in the third to make its 6-3 loss for Mitchell.
It was a testament to how welll the Peewee B Girls have improved. They played Lambeth early in the season and record an 8-0 loss and a 3-0 loss. Good effort girls. Best of luck in the last regular season game Sunday evening in Lucan.
