Peewee B Girls
The girls played Wallaceburg today in Monkton.
Danielle Harmer started off the scoring late in the first period with a pass from Margret McCarthy.
The second period McCarthy was unstoppable with two goals. One assisted by Claire McCorkindale and one from
Harmer.
The third period Josephine Jarmuth scored with another pass from Harmer and our defence Alexis Gettler took a shot at the net from the blue line that found the back of the net.
It was an all around team effort...with all the girls skating hard, controlling the puck, passing and working as a team to come out on top with a 5-0 win! Jordyn Crawford, Gettler, Heather Ogilvie, Hayden Uniac and Aubrey Vosper all put in an excellent effort to prevent Kora Smith from seeing very many shots. Especially when the girls spent six minutes of this game short handed. Smith saw some and stopped everyone of them!!
