Peewee Reps Split Pair of 4-3 OT Wins With Saugeen Shores
The Hoegy's Farm Supply Meteor Peewee Reps faced the Saugeen Shores Storm this weekend in a home-and-home start to the second round of OMHA Peewee 'B' playoffs.  Luck was on the home team's side, as each team scored a 4-3 overtime victory over their visitors.

In Mitchell on Saturday Feb 9th, Vincent Voros scored first for the home side early in the second period on a rare penalty shot, called when a Saugeen defender covered the puck in the crease.  Saugeen would tie it up late in the second before Mitchell would go ahead again 2-1 early in the third on another goal by Voros, assisted by Jared Vosper.  Saugeen would score twice within 30 seconds to briefly take the lead, before Voros would complete the hat trick again from Vosper to send the game into overtime and set the stage for Brayden Glauser's unassisted game winner just over six minutes into the extra frame.
Back up to Saugeen Shores on Sunday, the Storm opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game with a powerplay goal.  The Meteors would answer back quickly less than a minute later on an unassisted goal by Vosper.  With Saugeen winning 3-1 early in the third, Mitchell would get one back as Brandon Dietrich would knock in his own breakaway rebound, assisted by Jarret Van Bakel.  With less than two minutes remaining in regulation, the Meteors would tie the game on a goal by Glauser assisted by Kellen Russwurm, once again sending the two teams into overtime.  But this time it would be Saugeen with the winning goal, three minutes into the overtime.
The two teams will meet again in a home-and-home next weekend in the reverse order with Game 3 in Saugeen Shores on Sat Feb 16th followed by back in Mitchell the next day at 5:50pm.
