Atom Girls Shut Out South Huron
The Van Gerwen Sun Life Meteor Atom Girls hosted the South Huron Sabres on Feb 20th, blanking them by a score of 3-0.
After a scoreless first period, Camryn Medhurst opened the scoring early in the second from Grace Bach. Sitting on a 1-0 lead entering the third, Tegan Mace would score assisted by Medhurst and Rylee Kipfer. Abigayle Van Bakel would add an insurance goal late in the final period from Addy Wolfe. Macie Russwurm posted the shutout in net for the Meteors. Next up is a home and home with Huron Heat this weekend, in Mitchell on Saturday afternoon at 345pm and back to Seaforth on Sunday for 230pm start.
