Four Straight Wins to Start the Season
The Atom LL boys team is off to a great start this season. After many practices and plenty of skating the boys have won four straight games giving up just one goal through them all. They started with two preseason games against the Listowel Cyclones followed by two regular season games against the Zurich Thunder and the Kincardine Kinucks II.
It is already evident that this team has an excellent well-rounded group of players and a fantastic coaching and training staff to match. Goals and assists have been spread amongst several different players while the defensive play has been very strong and well equipped to keep the puck in the opposition's end. The net was virtually impenetrable thanks to A. McCann who managed three shut-outs....Nice work!
The team has a busy couple of weeks ahead starting with a game against the BCH Ice Dogs II this Thursday at 7:00 in the Mitchell arena.
