The Caravan kids played a back and forth tight game in Hensall Saturday morning.  BCH got an early lead in the 1st period, and managed another in the 2nd.   Sam Huettlin responded with a rebound goal in the 2nd period, unassisted.   Other great chances presented themselves, but the Meteors couldn't seal the deal.  Joel Meinen got pulled late in the 3rd period, yielding BCH an empty netter, and a 3-1 win.  The next game is Tuesday night where Mitchell can hopefully turn the tides.  Should be a great game.

Goderich came out on the move and scored in the 1st period within 16 seconds of the face off, taking an early lead.  Sam Huettlin responded with a goal halfway through the 1st period, with Hayden Nicholson getting the assist.  The Caravan kids played some great hockey, battling hard and controlling the play.  Grayson Yost got the second goal, assisted by Jacob Dietrich in the second period.  The Sailors managed to slide a a few more goals ending in a 4-2 Goderich win.  Some great goaltending by Joel Meinen, and hard working defense play by Liam Brodhagen, Nicholson, Bryce Otten,  and Dietrich.  A hats off to forwards Carter O'Brien, Tyler Scherbarth, Wade Campbell, Brandon Dietrich, and Jack Van Loon for good passing, back checking and teamwork.
