Friday  4-3 Win vs. Stratford AA Majors

The Stratford AA Majors were in town Friday evening for an exhibition game.  As could be expected, the Stratford AA team of 2003 kids opened the scoring in the first period.  The Atoms stepped it up in the second period with three straight goals, one from Evan Morrison (Carter Preszcator / Kase Schoonderwoerd) and two goals from the "red hot" Connor MacLean (Schoonderwoerd / Morrison / Preszcator) to take a 3-1 lead at the end of two. Under pressure, Stratford would come back to tie the game in the third. With 2:36 left, Connor Lockhart tipped a Kase Schoonderwoerd "howitzer" from the point for a 4-3 win.

Sunday  4-2 Win vs. Kincardine

The final game of the regular season concluded in Kincardine on Sunday. After a scoreless first period, Mark Knill found the net early in the second. The Kinucks responded with two quick goals to pull ahead by one at the end of two. In the third, Connor MacLean continued his goal scoring streak with two goals. Evan Morrison would add one into an empty net to seal a 4-2 win.
