Tyke 2 Earns First Point of Year in Comeback
An impressive effort by the Tyke 2 Mitchell Meteors today at home against Blyth/Brussels earned them their first point of the year. The team had to comeback from several deficits to earn the tie. A huge breakaway stop by Mitchell goalie Brayden Glauser with 3 seconds to play kept the score even. Rhett Terpstra lead the way for Mitchell with 2 goals, while Daniel Ogilvie added a goal and two assists. Blake Redfern and Caleb Templeman added a goal and an assist each. Jarrett Van Bakel also tallied a goal for Mitchell. Ally McMann, Sam Huettlin, Liam Brodhagen and Jake Crowley all chipped in two assists for the home side.
