U15 Girls Progressing Well in B Division Playoffs
The Eidt's BMR Express U15 Mitchell Meteor girls are navigating a high-stakes post-season, building on their historic undefeated regular season.

Jan 18, 2026, vs. Saugeen Shores Storm B: In a tight road battle at the Port Elgin Plex, the Meteors faced a rare 2–1 setback. The contest was a challenge for the majority of the night. Kinslee Horan provided the spark for Mitchell in the third period, finding the back of the net to keep the pressure on until the final horn. Despite a late push, the Storm managed to preserve their slim margin.
Jan 30, 2026, vs. Huron Heat B: This matchup in Seaforth ended in a 3–3 draw. The Meteors looked in control early; Lily Terpstra scored in the first off an assist from Voros, followed by a brilliant individual effort from Kinslee Horan in the second. When Voros added a third goal, the win seemed secure, but a resilient Heat squad caught fire in the final frame, scoring three unanswered goals to force a split of the points.
Feb 1, 2026, vs. Saugeen Shores Storm B: Mitchell’s depth proved too much for the Storm in a 4–1 win. Elyn Hannon opened the scoring with a patient highlight-reel effort, followed by Callie Van Loon burying a feed from Horan. Reina Nevin capitalized on a feed from Danica Voros in the second, and after Saugeen answered, Leah Sills sealed the victory with a goal assisted by Horan.
Feb 2, 2026, vs. Kitchener Lady Rangers B: The Meteors delivered a textbook 3–0 shutout at home. Kinslee Horan ignited the offense early with an opening-frame marker. The intensity stayed high in the second as Phoebe Wood unleashed a heavy slapshot, teed up by Leah Sills. Reina Nevin added the insurance, while Ally Vanbakel stood tall in net, turning aside every shot to secure the clean sheet.
The Mitchell squad is progressing well through the B division playoffs, remaining a top contender part way  into the round-robin.
