Healthy win for U15 Girls in Regular Season Opener
Regular Season was underway Thanksgiving evening against the South Bruce Blades, and after three ties in pre-season play, the girls were keen to score some goals and get their first win of the season.

The first period ended strong with the Meteor girls netting two goals. The first, a top corner blast from Phoebe Wood assisted by Dana Poppe, and the second from Elyn Hannon, assisted by Danica Voros’ faceoff win.

Lots of opportunities in the second period, but nothing finding its way into the net.

Third period really started clicking for the girls, with three more unanswered goals. Kinslee Horan found the net on a nice pass from Poppe, Wood netted another goal assisted by Voros and Martyna Hartwig potted the last one on a nice up ice pass from Reina Nevin to finish off the 5-0 win.

Great effort by the girls, especially in their penalty killing ability. A nice way to start the regular season.

Special thanks to DJ Nat, for keeping the players and fans entertained throughout the game.
