Meteors hosted the Wingham Ironmen on a Monday Night faceoff in Mitchell and come out with a 4 to 2 win.
Meteors ousted the Ironmen as the tougher team for the evening. Back and forth action from both teams ended the first period scoreless. Ulch had enough of this in the second and lit the lamp first 10:23 on a pass from Wolfe. Broughton kept the fight going by scoring at 7:36 on an assist from Lealess. The fight wasn't over for Burtenshaw with a snipe at 5:32 on another beauty pass from Lealess. Wingham answered back in the third followed by McCarthy from Schoonderwoerd at 6:09 for the final mark. Meteors win 4 to 2; great back end work by both Collin Klumper and the Ironmen netminder.
