Holiday hockey wrap up
The Mitchell Meteors U15 LL sponsored by Scotiabank had a couple of games the last two weeks.
Mitchell travelled to Stratford to take on the Stratford Warriors U14BB team in an exhibition game. Stratford came out strong scoring two goals in the first period keeping Mitchell from hitting the net. Mitchell came back getting one in the second by Dax Baker but that would be the only goal Mitchell would get as they fell 8-1.
The Meteors then travelled to Goderich to take on the Sailors. Some great passing along with three goals by Lewis Jenson, two by Greg McKay and one each for Liam Baker, Sean Gibbings and Dax Baker lead the Meteors to beat the sailors 8-0. Levi Dorscht got the shutout.
