2 Wins. 2 ties
The Scotiabank U15 LL team added two wins and two ties the past two weeks.

The first game took them to Drayton to take on the top team the Drayton Defenders. Drayton came out ahead with a goal in both the first and second periods while the Meteors came up empty handed. The third period things changed when Lewis Jenson added two goals with assists from Nolan Rolph and Brayden Baxter. The game ended with a 2-2 tie.

Goderich Sailors came to Mitchell for the next game, where Liam Baker started the game by putting Mitchell on the board first. Wyatt Bouillon would add to that with a goal fed by Luke Krempien. In the second period Krempien would again assist Bouillon in his second of the game. Mitchell started the third period up 3-0 when Bouillon found the net for a third time completing the hat trick. Bouillon then put one on the stick of Tao Billings for Billings first goal of the season. With about a minute left Goderich found the back of the net. Mitchell won 5-1

At home again Mitchell took on the Listowel Cyclones. Mitchell came out strong with goals from Greg McKay, Sean Gibbings and Wyatt Bouillon. Up 3-0, the Meteors kept the pressure on in the second period. Two more goals were added from Nolan Rolph and Brayden Baxter. Gibbings would then add his second of the night in the third securing a 6-0 win and a shutout for goalie Levi Dorscht.

Mitchell travelled to Milverton for the last game where they tied the Central Perth Predators 3-3. The Predators attacked first with two goals in the first period. With another goal in the second Mitchell trailed the Predators 3-0 however a Baker-Gibbings pass found the back of the net and it changed the pace of the game. The Meteors found some spunk and with another goal from Billings the Meteors finished the second period down 3-2. With a clean sheet of ice Mitchell came out skating hard in the third. Gibbings added his second of the night and tied the game. Mitchell was fired up but they just couldn’t get the last one by the Central Perth goalie.

It will be another Meteors/Predators match up Friday in Mitchell at 8pm.
