U13 LL, U13 Boys, 2021-2022 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

On Saturday, the Legion Branch 128 U13LL team traveled to Wingham where they suffered a tough 5-4 OT loss. Wingham opened the scoring with Mitchell quickly responding on a nice goal by Dylan Dietrich. In the second period, Wingham takes the lead but then Nolan Rolph got them back with an sniper goal from the centre line (was called offside by the ref). Not getting down, Nolan went end-to-end and scored a beauty goal that tied it up. Quaide Hoskin scores twice off of great assists from Dietrich. Luke Krempien had a solid game on defence but despite their efforts, Mitchell couldn’t quite hang ...

The first period goes scoreless for Legion Branch 128 U13 LL Meteors (record 7-2) playing against a strong Blyth-Brussels Crusaders (record 6-2). Both teams test each other early with shots peppering the goalies and Sebastian Voros denying the Crusaders and no one finding the back of the net. Finally at 4:26 in the 2nd period Nolan Rolph sends a shot from the blue line to the back of the net after some beauty passes from Brayden Baxter and Carter Mcash.
