Nail Biter!
The MCR Advanced Collison Centres Atom LL team faced off against the St. Marys Rock Saturday afternoon. After the first period it was a tie game at 1-1; St. Marys ended the second period ahead by two; and our MCR boys brought it back to end the game with a tie 6-6!
Brandon Dietrich scored a hat trick with assists from Sam Huettlin. Teammate Andreas Harmer was not far behind with two goals and an assist from Owen McKenzie. Huettlin scored as well. MCR goalie Ethan Dearing saw a lot of action. Keeping his game face on he hugged the post & focused on the puck. It was a great team effort with strong defense for Dearing & determined forwards to get the puck into the Rock's net!
