Atom LL, U11 Boys, 2015-2016 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

Last Thursday the MCR Advanced Auto Collision Centres Atom LL team won on their home ice against Central Perth.  Defenseman, Kaeden Meinen skated up the ice to score twice with assists from Liam Hunt; Liam Brodhagen; and Grayson Yost.  Brandon Dietrich scored the winning goal in the third period with assists from Logan Nugent and Brodhagen.Saturday the MCR boys travelled to Clinton despite some tough calls on the ice, Nolan Vessie scored with an assist from Dietrich in the second period, getting the team a point.

MCR Advanced Collision Centres Atom LL team played in Kincardine this past Saturday.  It was a win 6-5. Sam Huettlin started off with the first goal early in the first period; Brandon Dietrich scored a hat trick plus one by the third period; and Grayson Yost added one in the net - all unassisted goals!

This weekend, the MCR Advanced Auto Collision Centres Atom LL team played BCH Ice Dogs 1 both Saturday & Sunday. Saturday was a loss but Sunday they defeated their opponents 3-2.  Zach Huygen was the player of the game with the first two goals. Huygen was assisted by Brandon Dietrich & Liam Hunt.  Sam Huettlin scored MCR's final goal of the game assisted by Grayson Yost & Hunt.  

MCR Advanced Collision Centres last game of the tournament was against Mooretown Flags Monday afternoon. Zach Huygen made an awesome goal early in with assists from Centre-man Andreas Harmer & Defence-man Liam Brodhagen. Dietrich found the net again for their second goal with a little help from Meinen. Huettlin and Dietrich took the puck up the ice for MCR's final goal of the game.  MCR goalie Ethan Dearing was on fire throughout the tournament stopping all kinds of great shots! All the boys spread out and played position well, working the puck up the ice into their opponents end.

MCR's second game was against South Kent Lightning 2.  Brandon Dietrich found the net first scoring the first goal of the game. Sam Huettlin scored next with only 18 seconds to spare in the first period.The second period was Kaeden Meinen's as he scored twice with assists from Nolan Vessie; Logan Nugent; and Huettlin.Meinen & Steinbach assisted Huettlin to score in the third with Grayson Yost netting MCR's last goal of the game unassisted.
