Wallace Fun Days Opener
The Tyke 2 Walkoms Value Mart team met a very strong opponent in there opener for the tournament. Although showed some solid play at times Blyth-Brussels was dominant. The Meteors were playing a much bigger, faster and older team.
R Kipfer stood tall in net making some outstanding saves. She was very busy with attack after attack as play remained mostly in the Meteors end of the ice. J Gibbings, K Rolph, G Robinson all had great defensive plays. R Glauser and G Smith had a few Breaks to the other teams end but were swallowed up by the size, speed and skill from their opponents.
Overall the Tyke 2's could sure use this game as a learning curve and a goal to strive to get better. Good luck in sundays two games and remember this tournament is about having fun.
