In the final game against BCH Ice Dogs in the provincial playdowns the Meteors and BCH tied at 1 goal each. After a scoreless first period, BCH got the puck by an outstretched Julia. The Meteors got on the board with 3 minutes to go in the 3rd on a goal by Rachael, assisted by Robyn. The home team had several scoring chances but could not capitalized against the aggressive play of the visitors. BCH faces Lucknow for an afternoon game Feb 22. The outcome will decide our fate. If Seaforth loses or ties we will advance to provincials. Despite what the outcome will be, the Meteors played a strong playdowns finishing with 1 win, 2 ties and 1 loss. Our next game is in Monkton at 7:30pm Sunday vs Waterloo in lower lakes playoffs.
