Schedule & Results, Novice Girls, Girls Hockey, 2012-2013 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The second game in our best of 3 series was one of the best games we played all year.  Emma French opened up the scoring in the first period with assists from Alyssa Eidt and Brooklyn Gethke.  Zorra fought back in the second period and tied the game.  In the third period it was all Mitchell as Taya Cornish scored with passes from Jaelyn Meinen and Sadie MacArthur.  And Emma French scored the insurance goal with assist from Taya Cornish and Jordyn Crawford.  There was definately some excitement at our end of the ice with some mad scrambles, but Ava Gibbings stood her ground and did all she could to keep the pucks out of the net. This was a great team effort and a very well deserved win for the girls.  Keep up the work for game three in Thamesford on Thursday night.
