Schedule & Results, Novice Girls, Girls Hockey, 2012-2013 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

Novice girls win the series over St. Marys Rock.  The two teams were tied with 1 win each coming into the 3rd and deciding game.  And what a thriller it was.  Arianna Catalan went end to end to open up the scoring in the first period.  With time winding down, Taya Cornish let a shot go from point that went in with 5 seconds to spare in the first period.  St. Marys battled back and came within 1 goal in the 3rd period.  But the team played some great defense and Ava Gibbings shut the door with some great goaltending.
