Bantam Girls take First Place Lakeshore in Shootout
Great Game Girls!! You all played with a lot of heart to put out first place Lakeshore.
Two unassisted goals by Dani Schoonderwoerd and Lindsay Harmer in the first period and stellar goaltending by Maggie McDonnell led us to a win after 3 periods. That tied up the series so to overtime we went. Five minutes of overtime with an amazing complete team effort decided nothing so a shoot out was to decide the fate of the series. Dani Schoonderwoerd scored on our first shot and Maggie responded with 3 amazing saves to take the win. Good luck against Kent County!!!
