Mitchell Atom AE worked hard this weekend at the Wellesley/St.Clements Silver STick tournament.
Mitchell had a great second period in Fridays first game against Tillsonburg. David R and Declan C scored with assists by Stevie D, Wyatt H and Sam S. Brent S with help from the defense stop all attempts by Tillsonburg in the second period. Unfortunately Tillsonburg came alive in the third period and won the game 4 to 2.
Our second game against Ayr also saw a tough third period with Ayr scoring all 3 goals of the game despite a strong defense and Greg R in net. Saturday's game against Tavistock started off rough with Tavistock scoring 3 goals. Mitchell Atom AE's held strong period 2 and finally in the third period Caleb T scored the last goal of the game.
