Tournament Champs!!
Sunday morning we were back on the ice against the home team Elma Logan. We came away with a win of 2-0 with both goals scored by Jared Vosper.
With that win the boys headed into the Championship game against our opponent from Saturday morning, Elmvale.
It was a nail biter of game with Elmvale scoring in the first period and holding that lead until the third period when Spencer Boyce got a breakaway and hit the net. With the game tied at the end of the third we headed into an overtime period that ended after five minutes with us still in a tie. We then proceeded to a shootout where the boys took it!!! Shoot out scorers were Spencer Boyce, Jamie Feltz and the game winner by Brock Boville who was playing up from Tyke.
It was a great effort by the whole team as well as coaching staff!! Thanks to the two boys from Tyke for helping the team out, Brock Boville and Josh French.
