Seaforth Tournament

Mitchell vs Seaforth will start off the tournament at 5pm on Friday. On Saturday the 24th at 12 noon there will be a shoot out, All players are welcome, $10.00 per player, goalies are free, there will be 2 divisions, a 2004 age group division and a 2005 age group division, please sign up at the shootout table in the lobby friday night.

First game was close but not close enough. With many shots on our net, Seaforth took the win at the end of a tough game. Going into the second game of the tournament at about 12:40pm our boys stepped onto the ice with a positive attitude and ready to take on the Shelbourne Wolves. Unfortunately the wolves took the game by storm with a 7-0 win for them despite the great efforts of our goalie. That didn't shake Mitchell's spirit. We went to our final game of the day at 4pm eager to do our best with a goal in mind...victory!

An intense game as our exhausted Novice AE boys pushed through their third game of the day. Daniel Reidy scored the first goal for Mitchell. The game was tied up 1-1 ending the 3rd period and heading into overtime to determine the winner. In overtime Tanner Meinen scored the winning goal and was awarded MVP of the game. Way to go Tanner and congratulations Mitchell on your win.
