Happy New Year to our Mitchell Meteors!Starting off the new year with a bang by playing in the Mitchell Hawks Cup Tournament which ran January 2-3.
Our Novice AE boys had a tough first few games in the tournament but didn't let that get them down. If there is one thing these boys have it's good sportsmanship. They won the last game in the tournament after going into a shootout where Tanner Meinen scored the winning goal and was also announced as MVP of the game.
As we watch these kids play hockey every week we notice just how much they have grown as players and how much their skills have improved.

After winning the most recent game against Arthur we are heading in the right direction. Let us enjoy the "good ol' hockey game" and be proud of the kids and how much they have improved since the beginning of the season. Continuing on the exciting journey in 2013.
