TD Canada Trust Canadiens, JR HL, 2011-2012 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

Great game Canadiens!!  A very tight game that always within a goal and very exciting until the end.  Alex McLaughlin played a great game in net and stood his ground very well with some good saves.  Our player of the game was Porter Feltz who worked very hard today and assisted on the first goal.  Great game Porter!!

The kids had lot's of energy today and showed it on the ice.  All players played an awesome game and really put in a good team effort.  The hard work paid off as we won 6-4.  Porter Feltz had a great game in net with plenty of stick saves!  Kole Hunt and Drew Scherbarth led the team with 2 goals  each.  Eric Dearing added 1 goal and 1 assist and Zachary Clifton added a goal.  Our player of the game was Shelby Vanderhyden who had a great game playing good defense and was involved in a lot of plays.  Keep up the good work!  Next weeks goalie is Alex McLaughlin.  Have a Merry Christmas team!  ...

Another close game for TD Canada Trust.  A very good team effort with a great comeback at the end that almost tied up the game.  A good game in net for Joshua Duncan who wore the pads at the last minute.  Thanks Joshua!  We ended up losing 6-5 but it was a battle to the end.  Kole Hunt opened up the scoring with an unassisted goal.  Eric Dearing added 3 goals and an assist.  Zachary Clifton added a goal and 2 assists.  Good team effort from everyone.  Player of the game was Carter Yost who put in a solid effort all game digging in the corners and some great defensive plays.  Next weeks ...

Great game TD Canada Trust Canadiens.  A tough 9-4 loss to the DeHaan Painting Maple Leafs, but a great effort from all kids.  We saw some good goaltending from Drew Scherbarth with numerous saves, and a hat trick for Eric Dearing.  And did you see the hands on Joshua Duncan?  What a goal he scored!  And let's not forget our player of the game Blake Webber who led the team with 3 assists!  Another good team effort from all players.  Keep up the good work. Next weeks game is at 9:55am (Dec. 17).  Our goaltender will be Jonathan Sutherland. 

Wow!  What a game!  End to end action with great goaltending at both ends kept this game very close.  Great game by both goalies Kody Eisler for us and Jamie Skinner for the other team.  We ended up losing 4-3 but it was a hard battle.  Our goal scorers were Eric Dearing (2 goals), Zachary Clifton (1 goal) with help from Joshua Duncan, Blake Webber and Carter Yost.  Player of the game:  Kody Eisler!  Kody stood on his head making a lot of great saves throughout the game.  Remember we have a practice today at 5:40pm in Mitchell.  Next weeks game is at 9:55am against DeHaan Painting Maple ...
