    Mitchell will participate in their first tournament of the season Oct. 22 & 23 in Tillsonburg. The team opens the tournament with a 10 a.m. game in Oct. 22 against Georgian Shores at the Memorial Arena, then takes on Prince Edward County at 3:30 p.m. at the complex.
    Wallaceburg is their scheduled final pool opponent in preliminary play on Sunday morning, Oct. 23, at 9:15 a.m.
    There are three finals - the C final at 1:30 p.m., the A final at 3:15 p.m. and the B final at 3:30 p.m. for the respective pool finishers.

    Ten teams participated in the Legion C1 Zone tournament in Lucknow, with Mitchell playing well and almost repeating as champions.
    The team began the tournament with a 2-0 win over Seaforth last Thursday, then played what was their best game of the season in a 4-0 win over Goderich Saturday morning. Next, against BCH, Mitchell again played very well as all cylinders clicked in an exciting 3-2 win which put the team in the final against Blyth/Brussels. Unfortunately, the third game of the day proved to be too much, as Mitchell ran out of gas in a tight 3-2 loss, leaving them as runners-up/

    There are 7 Pee Wee B teams registered in the Watford Regional Silver Stick tournament and Mitchell is guaranteed three games.
     
    Our first two games will be on Thursday, December 29
        - first game at 12:10 against Wallaceburg
        - second game at 6:00 against Strathroy
     
    The timing of our third game will be based on the results and seedings after everyone has played two games.
        - if we are seeded anywhere from #2-#7, we will play at either 2:50, 4:00 or 5:10 on Friday, Dec. 30
        - if we happen to finish as the #1 seed OR win our game on Friday, we will then proceed to the semi-finals on  Sunday, January 1
        - semi-final games are scheduled for 9:00 and 10:10 with the Pee Wee B final scheduled for 4:00 that day
