Lambton Shores Christmas Tournament
The Atom AE Team played in the Lambton Shores Christmas Tournament in Forest on Dec. 29th and 30th. For the first game of the tournament the boys played against Dorchester trying their best the boys came up short losing 2-1. In the second game the boys were warmed up and ready to play winning against Lambton Shores 4-0. On Friday the team came up against Mooretown, they needed a win to advance to the finals and they did this with another 4-0 win. In the finals the boys found themselves playing Dorchester again and after a back and forth game, Mitchell scored in the third and held on to win the Championship 1-0. Both of our goalies stood tall sharing three shutouts in the tournament.
