Novice Rep - Hawks Cup Champs
The McLaughlin Chrysler Jeep Novice Rep team earned its' second straight Hawks Cup Tournament with five well played games.
The tournament started with a great 3-0 win over the Strathroy Jr. Rockets--the same team that ended the SilverStick tournament just a week earlier with a heart-breaking 1-0 loss for Mitchell.
Wins against the Plattsville Rage (3-0) and the Oro Thunder (9-3) earned Mitchell a bye into the semi-finals. A second win against Oro (7-2) earned Mitchell a spot in the final game.
Mitchell claimed the title in the championship game with a 4-0 victory over Strathroy in a well contested match.
