Practices starting at Monkton Arena:

Monkton Facility rules:
  • The door will be open 10-15 min before the scheduled ice time and will be locked once all players/parents have entered the facility
  • Use the main facility entrance to enter the arena (see the attached diagram - yellow highlight)
  • Use hand sanitizer inside the door
  • Follow signage to the assigned dressing room which will either be the back hallway or the front hallway
  • Players U13 and below are to arrive at the arena wearing all equipment except skates, helmet, gloves.
  • Dressing rooms capacity i 9 (this limit includes players and parents)
  • 1 parent per participant is permitted to attend
  • Parents can watch but must not stay in the lobby area.  Once the players are ready for the ice, parents are to enter the stands and sit in the designated area in the cold part.
  • All players and parents will exit the arena through the back hallway and out the back exit door (see the attached diagram - green highlight)
  • The facility capacity is 50 which includes the players on the ice and the parents in the stands.  Do not exceed this limit

Mask guidelines:

All players, spectators and coaches MUST wear a mask when inside the facility including dressing rooms.  

When players and coaches are on the ice, masks do not have to be worn.

When a coach is on the bench during a game, a mask will be required for the coach only.  This is a mandatory safety guideline as outlined by Hockey Canada.
