The Tru Country Peewee Girls have finished up the regular
season but now have their sights on going to the Provincial tournament.
It has been a very up and down season for the girls as they have had so many close battles during their games but just seemed to fall short at the end of the games. You should all be very proud of the way you played as all the teams we played in league had an extra line of attackers.
With their regular season, all wrapped up, we didn’t make the cut to continue in league playoffs, tough one girls but now you can focus all your attention on the quest to Provincials!
With just two teams in our area that want the chance to play in this all Ontario tournament, it will be a battle with St Mary’s. The series has been set and it will be a 6 point, 3-win duel.
The first game to start off this intense series will be this Saturday (Feb 11th) on our home turf – Mitchell! So, come on out and cheer on our feisty Meteors as we embark on our quest to go to the Provincial tournament and prove to those other Peewee B teams that we are deserving of a gold medal!
