Win Against Warriors In Exhibition Play
The Thompsons Atom AE Meteors posted a convincing 7-4 win with strong play and good passing against the Stratford Warriors in Stratford Saturday afternoon. Brayden Glauser would lead the team to the win with a 6 point game scoring four goals and adding two more assists. Glauser would open the scoring in the first period as he would tip a rebound shot into the open net as the Warriors goalie was down. Jake Crowley would get the assist on the goal.

Just seconds into period two, the Warriors would score to bring the game to a 1-1 tie. In his first game playing forward, Bryce Otten would score the second goal for the Meteors as he managed to get a stick on the puck during a goal mouth scramble. Jack Miller would assist on the goal. The Warriors would keep up the pressure however, and would manage a second goal to tie the game at two. Less than a minute later, Crowley would make a perfect pass to an open Glauser who would head into the Warriors' zone on a break away and beat the goalie to make it 3-2 for the Meteors.

Early in the third period Ryan Hubbard would make a perfect pass in front of the Warriors' net to the hot stick of Glauser who would not miss. The Meteors would score again just 30 seconds later as after a scramble in front of the net with Hubbard knocking the puck in, and assists going to Glauser and Charlie Geiger. After more pressure in the Warriors' end, Miller and Glauser would get the puck to Jaxen Hartwig who would beat the goalie with a perfectly placed shot. Stratford would manage to score two goals in the third bringing the score to 6-4 before Glauser would net the Meteors final goal of the game in an unassisted wrap around shot.
