Three Losses In Lambton Shores Tournament
Luck was not with the Novice LL Caravan Kids this weekend as they posted three straight losses in the Lambton Shores Tournament that was held at the Legacy Centre in Thedford.

In their first game against the Lambton Shores Red team the Novice LL's would face an 8-0 shut out loss against their fast skating and hard shooting opponent. Jake Crowley was nominated the MVP of this game for his strong defensive play.

Game two was against Wallaceburg and although Mitchell's goalie Brennen VanderKuylen stood on his head and kept Mitchell in the game, the Caravan Kids could

not find the net and would lose this game 4-0. Brennen's efforts in net would be rewarded as he was chosen as the MVP for Mitchell in this game.

In their third game of the tourney, the Novice LL's faced Ayr, and at the end of the first period were down by three goals. Mitchell fought hard to keep possession of the puck and Ayr was held scoreless for the remaining two periods of the game. The Caravan Kids had numerous good chances to score, especially in the third period as they kept the pressure on the Ayr defense, but the puck could not be put past the Ayr goalie. The MVP award was given to Logan Ruby in this game.

Although the Novice LL's were held scoreless all weekend, they represented Mitchell with good sportsmanship and showed strong determination throughout the weekend.
