Still Undefeated In Playoffs
The Novice LL Dodge Caravan Kids remain undefeated in their playoff round robin series. Mitchell traveled to Wingham on Saturday where they dominated the home team and came away with a 4-2 win.
Brayden Glauser got the team off to a strong start by netting two goals in the first period with Noah Mann adding an assist on the second goal. Mitchell's third goal would come in the third period as Glauser would get his third point of the game by assisting Logan Nugent to put the puck past the Wingham goalie.
Jack Steinbach would get the fourth goal for the Meteors and add some extra insurance as Wingham was pushing hard to get back into the game and pulled their goalie late in the period. Goalie Brennen VanderKylen would shut the door and make several key saves as the clock ticked down and Mitchell recorded the win.
