Game #1 Playoffs vrs Arthur Vipers
The McLaughlin Wholesaling Novice Rep Meteors opened the first game of the playoffs in Arthur against the Vipers. Despite Arthur's respectable regular season record of 9-11 the Meteors dominated the game from start to finish. Most of the play would be held down in the Vipers end and the Meteors would open with a 4 to 2 victory.
The first period would see an offensive attack by the Meteors as they would find the net three times! Goals coming from Logan Verberne, Ethan Jarmuth and Bryce Dixon.
The second period would see the Vipers climb their way back into the game with two(2) goals to make it an exciting 3 to 2 game.
However, the third period would see spectacular work in net by Aedan McCann supported by the supurb defense of Cohen Ahrens, Elijah Bender, Griffin Bree, Jonah Gibbings and Braden Hoegy.
Ethan Jarmuth would add a second goal in the third for insurance to take the game 4 to 2.
