Scotia Bank Bantam Rep Boys start second Round OMHA.
Mitchell Meteors Bantam Rep boys traveled to Clinton to play BCH the third round of their OMHA playoffs.

Mitchell got off to a positive start keeping the puck in the BCH end for the first 12 minutes of the first period. The BCH goaltender stood on his head to keep his team in the game.  BCH got on the board first, and then before the period ended scored a second to take a 2-0 lead into the second period.  The opposition took a 3-0 nothing lead at the start of the second while Mitchell was caught napping.  The coaching staff had to calm the team down while two of the Mitchell goals were questionable and disallowed. With misfortune on their side and not able to catch a lucky bounce, the boys battled back to 3-2. Starting the third period with a clean slate, Mitchell stuck to the game plan and dominated the third period.  They just couldn't solve the BCH goalie.  In the post game interview coach Schoonderwoerd said " It wasn't the result we were looking for but we have a lot of confidence in these boys,  they are probably the best team at figuring out what they need to do and then elevating their game".  On the wrap up show Coach Maclean stated " sometimes a long series just needs to play out and the boys will settle in and adapt to the proper style to beat this team".  The boys take to the ice in Mitchell for game two on Monday night at 9:15pm. See you there!!
