Weekend Round Up
The Scotia Bank Mitchell Bantam Reps came out firing on all cylinders. With some key players out due to injuries, all the lines were flying on Friday and Sunday night.  In Fridays game Mitchell come out with revenge on their mind after dropping the first game in O.T.

On Friday night the boys used a mix of finesse and hard physical play, that put the Falcons off their game. The Falcons tried to keep up with the intensity that the Meteors were handing out, but the pace was taking its toll.  Dow and McCorkindale were a dominant force on the blue line racking up 5 points in the 5-0 win Friday night.
Mitchell had to make the long trek to Hanover Sunday night with the series tied at 1-1.  The boys took off right where they left off.  Schoonderwoerd and Rauser took charge scoring two quick goals. Then the flood gates opened, goals from Dow, Harmer, Vogels, Schoonderwoerd, Forrest. Capping off a 5 goal second period.  Mitchell got into penalty problems in the third, allowing the Hanover Falcons to score three.  When the final buzzer sounded Mitchell was leaving with convincing 7-3 win and series lead of 2-1.  Next game is Wednesday back at the Falcons nest in Hanover, where the boys can close out the series. Game starts at 7:30pm.  Thanks to all the fans that made the drive to cheer on these young men.
