Playoffs Begin For The Scotia Bank Bantam Reps
After a month since their last game, the Scotia Bank Bantam boys game out a bit flat against Hanover Falcons on Tuesday night.
Hanover capitalized on a miscue and started the scoring. Late in the first period Ramseyer scored an amazing goal in the top corner. Mitchell took the lead on a slap shot from Roobroeck that sneaked by the Hanover goalie. With only seconds left Hanover tied it at two. In the third period both goalies kept the game scoreless and forced overtime. Two minutes into overtime, the Falcons got a lucky deflection to win the game, sending the boys home one game down in a best of five series. Thanks to a great effort by all it was a great game. The boys play Friday night in Mitchell at 9:00pm.
